As the global community continues to grapple with the coronavirus (COVID-19), the Atlantic Council is open for business. Our business, meetings, and events, however, are occurring virtually. For more information, please read an update from our President and CEO.
With the global nuclear energy market expected to triple by 2050, emerging markets for advanced nuclear reactors and SMRs face a complex set of decisions. Please join the Atlantic Council Global Energy Center, Third Way, and ClearPath for a private workshop to assess the geopolitical implications of countries in Central and Eastern Europe acquiring advanced nuclear energy technologies.
The series highlights regional perspectives and provides an opportunity to discuss how countries in Eastern Europe view the role of nuclear energy, choose nuclear power plant vendors, and build in-country capacity to bring new reactors online.
Please join us on Thursday, May 13 from 10:00 – 11:15 AM EDT for the workshop, “The geopolitical implications of advanced reactors in Central and Eastern Europe,” by registering below. Upon registration, you will receive Zoom details to join the private workshop on May 13.
