As China, Russia, and other US competitors rapidly leverage cross-domain capabilities and advanced technologies to reach their strategic goals, the United States must prepare to prevail on a new battlefield. US adversaries are racing to lead in emerging frontiers, harnessing space, cyber, and electronic warfare capabilities in and across traditional domains. Similarly, nations are looking to new connective technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning to revolutionize the way in which wars are fought and won. With security challenges now spanning multiple domains and theaters of warfare, integration across all services, combatants, and US allies will be central to effective defense and deterrence. The US Department of Defense must keep up with the developing threat landscape through updating its arsenal, raising an adaptable force, and harnessing innovation for integrated deterrence.

Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen John E. Hyten, USAF will join us in conversation with NBC News National Security and Military Correspondent Courtney Kube on how the US Department of Defense is transforming its own deterrence and defense strategies to meet twenty-first century security challenges.

We hope you can join us for what promises to be an important and timely discussion. To receive the virtual Zoom link, please register by completing the registration form below.
