On Tuesday, November 25 at 11:00 a.m. ET, the Atlantic Council’s Eurasia Center will host a discussion examining the latest diplomacy surrounding the war in Ukraine and the recent US-Russia twenty-eight-point peace plan.
Last week’s surprising leak of a draft peace plan negotiated between the United States and Russia jump-started previously stalled negotiations on a peace settlement. European leaders and US congressional members have spoken out against the plan, which appears to hand major concessions to the Kremlin. Ukraine has continued to work toward a lasting peace through negotiations with its US partners. With so much at stake, it is essential to understand the draft plan and analyze how a better framework could lead to real peace.
Join this virtual conversation, moderated by Ambassador John Herbst, to discuss efforts to end the Russian war on Ukraine.
