Stella Glojek is an Air Force SkillBridge fellow at the Atlantic Council’s Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security. She is a senior US Air Force officer and fighter pilot with experience in force design, weapons modernization, joint operations, and defense policy. Her work focuses on Indo-Pacific deterrence and future air combat capabilities.
Prior to joining the Atlantic Council, Glojek served as the weapons division chief at the Department of the Air Force’s Integrated Capabilities Command, where she established and led the first weapons division. In that role, she aligned modernization and sustainment strategies across major commands, led joint and industry engagements on modular weapons development, and contributed to strategic-level wargames shaping future joint force design. She previously served at Headquarters Air Force as the air superiority weapons branch chief, advocating for the Air Force’s air-to-air weapons portfolio, as well as supporting munitions policy and budget development.
Glojek has commanded and led operational units across training, safety, and airfield operations, including command of an A-10C training squadron and leadership of Air Combat Command’s largest wing safety program. Her operational experience includes deployments to Afghanistan, Qatar, and the Philippines, as well as the Korean Peninsula during periods of heightened tension. She has also served as a doctrine lead at the LeMay Center, developing US and NATO publications adopted across the joint force.
Glojek is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. She has logged over 2,800 flight hours in the A-10C, T-38C, and T-6A, including combat time.
