On November 6, Atlantic Council Nonresident Senior Fellow Michelle Kholos Brooks was featured in BroadwayWorld for the premiere of her short film Veterans Day 2020. Written by Brooks, the film is an Atlantic Council partnership with Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater. This cinematic celebration of military service was adapted from Brooks’ stage play War Words, which drew from interviews with members of the armed forces who served in Iraq and Afghanistan.
