The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung and the Atlantic Council’s Iraq Initiative, with support from DT Institute, convened a US-Europe-Iraq Track II Dialogue from March 2020 through December 2021. After two years of engagement with the Dialogue’s community of experts on Iraq – co-authored by C. Anthony Pfaff, Ben Connable, and Masoud Mostajabi – Iraq: Implementing a way forward, presents findings and recommendations to assist the government of Iraq and its international partners in improving political, social, economic, and security conditions in order to enhance national stability, stabilize Iraq’s democratic processes, and promote broad-based, Iraqi-generated economic growth.

A discussion surrounding the paper’s findings was held via Zoom on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, from 12:00 – 1:30 pm ET. The event was open to press and on-the-record.
