Alp Ozen is a program assistant at Atlantic Council IN TURKEY. Ozen was previously a young global professional for Atlantic Council IN TURKEY during the Spring 2022 cohort. He grew up in Istanbul and New Jersey, which encouraged him to engage in transatlantic relations using his experiences and observations from Turkey and the United States. In 2018, he participated in the Turkish Coalition of America Youth Leadership Congress in Washington, DC, where he had the opportunity to have conversations and briefings with Turkish policy experts, congressional staffers, and leaders in the Turkish-American community.

Ozen graduated from Rutgers University–New Brunswick in 2020. He majored in political science and minored in philosophy. His political science studies focused on US politics and international organizations. He was accepted to the National Political Science Honor Society in the United States. He speaks English and Turkish.
