Morten Skroejer was a nonresident senior fellow at the Atlantic Council’s Europe Center, where he focused on transatlantic digital issues, particularly as they relate to competition policy and law. The majority of his career has been in government and politics. For more than a decade, he served as senior policy advisor and trade counselor to a foreign ambassador in Washington, DC, advising on everything from US politics and congressional relations to transatlantic trade. Earlier in his career, he was chief of staff to a European political leader.

An expert on US and European politics and transatlantic business relations, Skroejer holds an LLB and LLM from the University of Copenhagen and a JD from the Washington and Lee University School of Law. Born in Denmark, he is a US citizen.
