On June 6, Transatlantic Security Initiative nonresident senior fellow Richard Hooker was mentioned in press releases from the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Romanian Ministry of National Defense for leading the Atlantic Council delegation in a meetings with these respective ministries. During this trip, Hooker was mentioned in a press release from the office of the Prime Minister for a meeting with Prime Minister Nicolae-Ionel Ciucă on the strategic importance of the Black Sea region.
