How will the United States deter attack and defend itself and its allies from the ever more capable missile arsenals of potential adversaries? Atlantic Council work focuses on the strategic and tactical implications of missile defense, with particular attention to the impact of new capabilities like hypersonic weapons, space-based assets, and directed energy.

Delicate Negotiations Behind Withdrawal of Patriot Missile Units from Turkey
