
The Atlantic Council IN TURKEY & Turkey Programs Center and Global Energy Center organized an in-person discussion and report launch on “Natural gas and the energy transition: Security, equity, and achieving net zero” taking place on Thursday, April 25th, in London.
The panel featured; Julian Mylchreest, Executive Vice Chairman of Global Corporate & Investment Banking, Bank of America; Phillip Cornell, Nonresident Senior Fellow, Global Energy Center, Atlantic Council & Global Practice Lead, Energy & Sustainability, Economist Impact; Ambassador Jonathan R. Cohen, Nonresident Senior Fellow, Scowcroft Middle East Security Initiative & Middle East Programs, Atlantic Council; and Naci Can, Project Finance & Treasury Director, Çalık Enerji. Global Energy Center Research and Programs Director Reed Blakemore, moderated the panel.
At the event, we launched and discussed the contents of the Atlantic Council report on the future of natural gas in the energy mix and financing in the context of the energy transition and energy security prerogatives by Phillip Cornell.
