On June 22, IPSI nonresident fellow Brian Kerg’s recent New Atlanticist piece, “Think China can already take Taiwan easily? Think again,” was re-published in the Asia Times. In the piece, Kerg argues that China seeks to create a false narrative that it would inevitably prevail in an invasion of Taiwan.

On June 21, IPSI nonresident senior fellow Bee Yun Jo was quoted in ASB Zeitung regarding the recent Russia-North Korea agreement, which contains a concerning clause allowing for potential military assistance between the two nations.

This week, GCH/IPSI nonresident fellow Parker Novak was referenced in pieces by IDN Times, Responsulteng, and Indonesia Inside, regarding his visit with the Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian House of Representatives’ Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Agency as part of a US delegation.

On June 20, IPSI nonresident senior fellow Bee Yun Jo was quoted in CNN discussing Putin’s recent first visit to North Korea and the escalating cooperation between the two countries, specifically regarding the “comprehensive strategic partnership pact” they signed and its article outlining the possibility of military-technical cooperation.

On June 18, IPSI nonresident senior fellow Robert Dohner published a column in the Herald Insight Collection, titled, “Why Won’t the Dollar Topple?” He discusses the growth and permanence of the dollar and argues that the huge scale of offshore US dollar credit markets has direct consequences for US monetary policy and financial stability.
