Dean published through the University of Sydney’s United States Studies Centre

On March 31, IPSI Nonresident Senior Fellow Peter Dean co-authored a report on “Foundations for AUKUS nuclear-powered submarines” through the University of Sydney’s United States Studies Centre (USSC). He was also featured on an episode of the USSC Briefing Room podcast exploring Indo-Pacific security cooperation from an Australian perspective.

On March 29, IPSI Nonresident Senior Fellow Ryo Hinata-Yamaguchi was quoted in VOA, where he explained that under the US-Japan security upgrade plan, USFJ will enjoy enhanced authority in INDOPACOM and “greater institutional ability to communicate and coordinate with the [Japan Self-Defense Forces].”
