NATO Partnerships

The purpose of NATO partnerships is to project stability through cooperation. These partnerships foster cooperation between different countries and are also an opportunity to develop ties through joint trainings and exercises, NATO-led operations, and political consultations to share knowledge and expertise. The Alliance has developed a network of partnerships with non-member countries from the Euro-Atlantic area, the Mediterranean and the Gulf region, and others across the world.

The Transatlantic Security Initiative aims to reinforce the strong and resilient transatlantic relationship that is prepared to deter and defend, succeed in strategic competition, and harness emerging capabilities to address future threats and opportunities.
